[W126 Coupe] Seat belt extender

If the arm is not extending properly, the nylon driving gear is probably
partially stripped.The solution is to remove the extender assembly and
replace the gear with an aftermarket aluminum gear.
The aluminum gear will last for ever. M-B only sells complete motor arm
assemblies for several hundred dollars each. I replaced gears in both sides
of my 560 and they work perfectly. The fact that your motors are running
says that the motors are ok and you only need to replace the gears.The url
