[W126 Coupe] car stalls when coming to a stop.

Check your fuel control relay. My 1990 560 SEC had the same problem. It  
would stall at a stop light, then restart, then stumble for a while, then run 
ok  for a while. This behavior was intermittent for a few weeks, but grew 
more and  more frequent, eventually stranding the car on the side of the road. 
Turned out  to be the fuel control relay. Replaced the relay, no more 
problems for past five  years.
