[W126 Coupe] problem when raining

In New England we used to wrap the distributer in plastic bags, spray the
plug wires with WD40 and put Cristy Dry Gas in the tank every winter.
All to dispel moisture. That was 50 years ago and on american cars.

Your fix will probably turn out to be new plug and distributer wire set
(wires and boots for the plugs and cap. The old solid core wires were the
best but I don't know if you can get them any more. The carbon fiber ones
go bad often. A new distributer cap also if old.

Oh heck, might as well go for a full tune up too.
