When was coolant flushed last? How old is the radiator? Is the system
holding pressure?
What shape is your fan clutch in? Does the car over heat on the highway
or @ traffic lights?
If rad is old, replace it, new t-stat (whalers are best, I like to drill
an extra hole to help bleed mine) flush out All the old coolant.. if
you see much scale in there you'll want to citric acid flush the entire
cooling system.
Re-fill w/ a 40/60 coolant/water mix. Add 2 bottles of Redline Water
Wetter as well as a 1.1kohm resistor across the two pole aux fan temp
sensor.
