Maybe a "restomod" 560SEC would appeal to you?

Restomod (res'-tow-mod) n. <Lat. Restomodia> 1. The act or habit of
altering a motor vehicle in such a way as to increase _performance_
(http://forums.themustangsource.com/#) , reliability, style, or comfort exceeding the
original manufacturer's design. 2. A method by which impotent or otherwise
personality-challenged owners gain respect from similarly lacking
individuals within the community.

Fine engineering is appreciate by every vehicle enthusiast. There was a
compromise made in the tuning of the suspension as delivered from the
factory, period. Yourself and many others find that compromise acceptable.

and yes, the desire for a firmer rider quality is a personal choice but
replacing the OE springs with an equally well engineered spring is hardly
ruining "fine machinery." I still have my OE springs in a H&R box on the
shelf where they'll stay but he procedure is reversible. Long live the 126.
