Just went through the buy vs repair seat decision. I am purchasing the
entire interior of a car for $350 that is leather. The driver's seat will
need to be fixed in some portion, and then repainted and blended in. My
upholtery guy wanted more than $150 for just the top portion of one rear
seat.
I am getting all of the seats, the door panels, and rear side panels. This
is a steal I know. The guy I bought the car from years ago had the seats
redone using a non MB cloth. Needless to say it did not last and is going
away in pieces. I do not remember what he paid. I will have all of the old
parts for sale.
Also, I have an AMG 560SEC that will soon be for sail. Car is in great
shape with under 70K miles. The headliner has dropped and needs to be
replaced as well as one of the presenters need to be replaced. Stuck in out
position. Other than that, car is a cream puff.
AMG work was done by AMG West when they were in operation. I have the
original receipts.
Not sure about the price, I would accept whatever is close to the appraisal
price.
