Hello David,
My brother may be interested in some parts, and possibly the engine.
Please send contact information (off line, if preferred) and I'll
pass it along to him.
Thanks,
Clayton Johnson

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Saying Goodbye
Don't worry old timers! I am not saying goodbye to the list. However, I
have
run out of a place to keep my 1985 500SEC. I had started to tear it down
in the
desire to work on it as a project car. I unfortunately have run out of a
place
to keep said car and work on it (which I haven't had time to do in the
past 3
years).
I am writing to see if anybody wants any parts. You will have to speak up
quickly. The original interior is almost all gone. However, I do have
most
interior parts from my previously destroyed 91 560SEC. The interior was
black.
Included in this is a non cracked good condition dash! I also have the
hood
from the 91 as well as the 85 (on the car) and the doors from the 91 with
glass
in them. Outside of the car, sitting on a pallet, I have the engine and
tranny
from the 91 560 SEC (US). When I took this out it had 126K miles on it.
Hasn't
been touched. The engine is complete, and did not have the head gasket
leak.
Let me know if you are interested in any parts today, as most likely it
will be
heading to the scrap yard tomorrow. :( I am in Denver, CO and can help
arrange
shipping if needed.
Hope everybody is doing well,
David
