[W126 Coupe] noise from automatic transmission

The fluid level is right (maybe little bit too full), but I think Jonathan
gave the right clue. Last Saturday I discovered it was leaking a lot, after
the casket had been replaced 2 weeks ago by a good workshop, I dismantled
the pan and discovered they had tightened the bolts too hard and the new
casket had cracks, I sorted that out by cleaning the casket with petrol and
put superglue in the cracks, it is not leaking now (I couldn't get hold of a
new casket on Saturday afternoon). It was rather windy and when I was
cleaning the pan before putting it back, I felt what I thought was sand, but
it was probably metallic particulate.
