You need this tool. There are two of these needed to remove the cluster. It slides in at the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position. You then rotate it a half turn so the hook part of the tool will grab the lip of the cluster. You can make this tool using a coat hanger, use the gold color one as that hanger is a thicker metal. Bend the end like the picture of the tool. And once the cluster slides out reach behind and remove the speedo cable. It may take some pulling if it's never been out. But it's super easy
