Good morning!
I was a happy owner of a '89 560SEC (and former list member) until my coupe
was totalled in an unfortunate encounter with a big rig (the trailer ran
over the trunk while parked in San Francisco.
After cleaning out my garage this weekend, I have finally decided to try to
sell the speaker/amp set that I had had installed in the car. This was a
full setup by Reus Audio in Southern California (http://www.reusaudio.com/)
and cost me me in the ballpark of $3000.
Here is a link to photos of all the parts:

(missing in the photos is the Nakamichi MB-75 CD-changer head unit that is
part of the kit)
As you can see, it includes two 8-10in woofers, several mid range speakers
and tweeters (we had kept a couple of the existing speakers as they
provided excellent audio quality) and an array of amps to power the entire
set up (round thing with the amps attached would be placed inside the spare
tire in the trunk, very convenient).
When I removed the entire assembly from the car, everything was in working
condition and I had not touched anything until took those pictures this
weekend.
I hope someone else will get some enjoyment from this entire kit. Ping me
if you're interested!
Sincerely,
Michael
