[W126 Coupe] Engine oil mixing with steering oil ?

Yousef,
As a side comment (recommendation) I would refrain from starting the engine
just to run it. It's my understanding that because oil in the upper part of
the engine (valve train?) runs out of important lubrication places when the
engine sits for a while there is minute wear caused each time the engine is
started because of the lack of oil.
Maybe someone in the group can elaborate or de-bunk this theory.

Out of curiosity, is it possible for the engine oil to leak into the
steering system? i have not driven my 560SEC for a while, only turn the
engine on for a while. From my knowledge steering fluid is simply ATF (red
in color). But I noticed that the steering oil is more towards black but it
smells like ATF... any ideas?
