I was going to suggest the Accumulators

Have you checked the fluid level?

Check for leaks around your shocks in the rear.

My next guess would possibly be a broken spring in the rear.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] low left rear end question

Today when walking up to my 560SEC from across the parking lot, I noticed
that the left rear looked lower than the right rear. I looked at it more
closely and then when I go home I made a crude measurement to see how much
lower. It looks to be fairly substantial, on the order of 3/8”, maybe more.

I also noticed a “clunking” sound going over bumps that I had actually
thought was the cooler I keep in the trunk, but now I think not. The ride
does not seem hard, the symptom of the accumulators going bad. I had
actually replaced both of them around 60k miles ago
the car is high
mileage
I bought it to drive and I do! Does anybody have any ideas as to
what to look at before I bring it in? Thanks
