[W126 Coupe] Factory Fast idle from Cold

Hi Folks

 I have been a member of the list for over 10 years,and there has been 
countless high idle issues,but I cant remember ever seeing what the factory 
cold fast idle speed should be,mine has allways started at 500rpm and then 
(as the engine warmed up)climbed to 850-900rpm whereas every other car I 
have owned (including my current 450SL) has allways started @ 1000 rpm and 
then settled down to 700rpm.I had my idle speed controler swapped but it 
made no difference,any thoughts?
