[W126 Coupe] Rear main seal leak

Hi Guy,s I have been told my 91 560 is leaking from the rear main. I work at a Toyota dealer I have a mech. Here who knows these cars well from another dealership he worked @ He said 1 of two things: a bottle of BARS LEAK or a $20.00 seal with about 9 hours labor@ $47.00 per hour. Any sugestions about the Bars leak? Thanx Guys
