Hey All
i just wanted to correct some thing regarding the thermostat and maye get
some comments
remem talking about my friend and replacing the thermostat.. well there is
a confusion .. what he was doing was completely REMOVING the thermostat..
although that meant constant flow of coolant but it caused overheating.. his
explanation to this is that with the coolant flowing all that time the rad +
rad fan does not get a chance to cool the coolant ... so in other words the
tstat at some point closes trapping the coolant at the rad side and thus
cooling it before releasing it into the engine... i think thats interesting
and applicable for really hot climates..
