[W126 Coupe] Gauge trouble

Hello
group,
recently my entire gauge panel stopped working. (All but clock) I removed it
myself and replaced it with a used one. Worked fine for a few days. Suddenly
everything stopped working again. At this point I'm not thinking its the
cluster but perhaps some problem in the wiring. Anybody had this problem
before? Perhaps some suggestions on
troubleshooting.
