[W126 Coupe] Anyone help me with a blower motor?

Thats a good point, could well be the problem! Can you help me with the part number as I cant seem to locate it on the parts catalogue...

Jay- I went through the same scenario and had to change the motor three times and the noise would not go away.  Later I found out that the noise was coming from the aspirator motor a $28 part.  Check your aspirator motor that is above the blower motor.
