There is a little motor that sucks the air through the overhead area past the temp sensor to help decide in auto mode if the fan should run higher or slower. Its located to the right of the glovebox if my memory is correct.

I wanted to let you guys know that after 3 blower motors we found out that the noise was actually coming from the aspirator motor. I kept hearing screeching noises from the area where the heater blower motor is. I bought and replaced the motor three times to no avail. The noise was still there even with the heater/AC switched off; especially during the cold mornings. After three motors it was determined that the noise was coming from the aspirator motor. This is so you guys know and don't follow the same rabbit trail I followed.

Thanks,
Camran
