[W126 Coupe] Rear Spheres

Hi Folks
     Finally got my car back on the road after I had to order a  new 
speedometer from Denmark it was a third of the dealer price here in 
OZ.Previously I fitted the new Lemforder spheres and ran the engine driving 
the car 1/2 mile and checked the fluid,I was surprised that it had not 
dropped from the original level prior to fitment,is there some bleeding 
process or do I need to drive a greater distance?
