[W126 Coupe] 500SEC Euro Cabriolet

The top was done in Europe when the car was new.  It is NOT a Straman conversion from Southern California...those are really butchered!..I bought it from the second owner who was a customer of mine...I "rescued" it from being a low-rider...the wheels, which I really don't care for, are the only remains of his efforts.

Great looking car.  Did you "chop" the top or was it 
already done when you bought it?  It would be an interesting article with 
photos and any problems encountered. Not that I have any intensions to 
change our '87 SEC (Euro) as we already have two convertibles.
