[W126 Coupe] left key in ignition

Hi

I parked the car outside the garage yesterday because I needed space to do a
few other things, I later saw my 8 year old daughter sitting in the car,
playing with electric seat, playing music and so on, it wasn't anything to
worry about so I let her be. In the evening 7 or 8 hours later when I was
going to park in the garage again, I discovered that she had turned on the
ignition and left it on. The battery was nearly dead, I have now charged it
during the night and everything works, except the engine is totally dead,
the starter motor doesn't even 'click'. 

 

What could be the problem
