[W126 Coupe] doors and trim ?s

        Doors can be adjusted very easily.  First, close each door 

slowly.  See if the striker hits in the middle (sideways and

up and down).  You can move the female part, easily.

You can also loosen each door, but I would only do this if

it is off by a wide margin.

If you are you are talking about the drip-rail, it's a bitch.

You need to remove the rubber first.  It is installed with

the 2 sides holding it in the channel.  Then there are small 

screws that hold the rail.  You will need some type of sealant

when you re-install it, otherwise major leak.

...it seems to take 3 times or more to shut both doors.  can the doors be
adjusted?

 

also the chrome side trim that goes around the top the front and rear
window, how can that be taken off.  the bottom trim was easy.
