[W126 Coupe] W126 A/C question?

regarding the a/c discussion, was wondering what should the guage numbers be?  i have the guages but don't really know how to use them.  my guauge has the yellow, red, and blue lines, so when i hook it up i thinking i would put the blue to the low the red to the high and yellow ?  does that go to the r12 can.

i just bought the car and it sat for a couple of years, the a/c wasn't very cool so i put in 2 cans and now its freezing.  should i have put some oil and if so how is that done, and how do i determine how much?

Dick brings up a great point.  The rest of the system can be A-OK, but if the aux fan in front of the radiator isn't working, it won't cool right either.  Check and make sure that is on when you turn the a/c on (compressor engaged).
