Weekend greetings to all.
Newbee here that have been enjoying all the questions and answers. I have three W126 coupes, an 82, an 84 and an 85 (euro)
The quality of the participants and the high level of technical support by most are refreshing. Some of the opinions are "enlightening" ;-) I have learned a ton from reading it all and are greatful for the unselfish community sharing of skills and resources around the combined core interest, our SEC's.
190 girls responce brought me to the need for a reply:
Short sweet and to the point. You shared more honest experienced advice for Joshua in one paragraf than most can do in a book. Well done.
To be fair, many of the other comments to Josua were on point as well.
Thank you, your time is appreciated.

Hi All,
Not mentioned by anyone for Charlie but a fine floor mat custom provider is www.ggbaily.com Here you will find all kinds of custom choices at reasonable prices in all colors and styles, and I had a special pair made for my SportLine, and the quality is superb, overall the tufting, edging, and thick heel pad.
For Joshua you have learned the first lesson, old cars are cheap to purchase, but expensive to repair/restore on the other hand. I would not let this discourage any fine young individual away from such an endeavor, my advice is do it but take it slow, over a few years as necessary, and realize this is where ALL your spare pocket change will go during this time! It should be a fun, and educational project, over time. I did one ground up restoration which cost me $15K with proud results---learned much---but won't do another! It was very time consuming to do the constant research, ordering, parts approval overall. In the end, you might even realize, had you waited, for what you spent, you could have saved grief and bought a better base to begin with. But that is part of the lesson!
Safe driving to everyone out there............
Cheers,
Legs
