[W126 Coupe] question about blower fuse

Just a word  of advice.
A friend  who is a "decent" mechanic  most times disconnects the   
battery when ever he may doing  some  work that may involve wires or  
getting  even close to wires  or electrical connections
Or if he has to keep a door open for more than two minutes for some   
repair  work
