Yes, I am still in the KC area. I live in Mission and have a small  
manufacturing operation in Olathe. The shop that does my Benz work is Star  Motors. 
They  were in Brookside until a couple of years ago, now they are  based in 
a shop on the south west corner of I-35 at Antioch. I bought  the 1990 560 
SEC from Aristocrat as a used car in 1996 and owned a 1982 300  Turbo Diesel 
for seven years back in the 1980's. The Benz cars are unique and  
interesting to own and drive, but they are somewhat expensive to maintain.  Haven't 
had a lot of trouble with this one, but it is expensive when something  has 
to be fixed.  At one time I did most of my own mechanical work on both  
domestic and imports, but no longer have the time for that. These cars are  
actually a bit over rated. However, I still enjoy driving the 560 SEC. This is  
the latest of more than forty cars I have owned in the past fifty five  years.
 
So, do you still have a Benz and where are you located in the local Olathe  
area?
