[W126 Coupe] Huge Fuel Leak

This comment is a little off the subject but it reminds me of when we were taking a "Sunday" ride in my 230SL last fall. After traveling 30--44 miles through northern VT where there is almost nothing around we arrived back in civilization and I said to my wife, "I smell gas". I pulled over, popped the hood and there was a stream of gasoline emitting from the rubber fuel line that feeds the injectors. Needless to say, I yelled to my wife to turn off the engine. With some adhesive tape from the first aid kit I was able to "control" the leak and made it home. It's scary to see that stuff pouring out so be careful to clamp hoses when you remove that fuel pump and . . .keep a fire extinguisher handy.

I don't know where the filter is (how to identify it), but I will replace it and any related washers and hoses.

The leak is HUGE and leaving a trail of fuel. I think the pump is cracked at the end where the wiring is. I can't drive it for rear of something starting a fire.

I would like to get on this right away, but if Jonathan is reading these messages: What will it cost me to get everything from you with shipping and how long will it take?
