Thanks for the link--doesn't seem that unit is keyless go, but gives me more insight on the locking system.

Thank you for summarizing what you saw in WITS--I was afraid it might be that ugly, so I may take only the keyless-go shift knob from a wreck (or there are aftermarket) and retrofit just that portion, else using this (cheap but may work) system from Inwells.

Thanks for the offer!  Actually, I already have a Bergwerks kit (still in the box)that I plan to put in to my other SEC.  I couldn't tell from those instructions, though, if there were alternates to splicing in to the trunk or the driver's door.
