[W126 Coupe] Why are they draining

Markus,
I don't know but I think that the shop bit off more than they can chew; it appears that that they are looking for an excuse not to continue with the work. They're probably intimidated with the SLS and are afraid they might screw it up. They are the ones suggesting that not all 560's came with this hyrdraulic system but I don't think that I've ever seen or heard of one with a different system.

Now that I've invested in the KMAC kit I need to find someone in the Boise, ID area that can install it and complete the alignment. What would you do if your were in my position?

They putting the rear end back together as we speak so I'll be picking up the car shortly.
Ernie

Ernie,

I thought all 560's came with SLS, but maybe that's only true in the US market? Not sure what you could get optionally elsewhere, as I've heard of cloth, no sunroof, etc!

However, it is possible that someone took the SLS off the car at some point in its life prior to your ownership. Then it would have conventional shocks all the way around.

Markus,
I left a message for the mechanic to get back to me as to why he needs to bleed the system. In the meanwhile, do you know if it was an option to have the hydraulic suspension system on the 560 SEC's I was of the understanding that all 560 SEC's had the same system.
