[W126 Coupe] transmission needed

Will a trans from a 380 SEC work in a 500 or 560?

Also check benzworld.org and peachparts.com/shopforum.  Both have classified
sections, see if anyone is parting out a 126 with a good working trans.  I
sold mine recently from my 89 so don't have any left myself.
