[W126 Coupe] Wipers

Hi All,

On position 1 my wiper is getting stuck at various points... On positions 2 and 3 the wipers work perfectly.. wiggling the switch in position 1 makes no difference, I have to put it in position 2 to get the wipers to move.

So is there a control unit for the windshield wipers somewhere? Or is it my multi function switch?
