[W126 Coupe] Dip stick

Unless the end of the dipstick broke off at the MAX line..  Does the end of the d/s still have the curled end?  If not where’s the broken end?

Mine broke off at the bottom on the tube about two years ago, Thanks for the reminder. Just one more thing to do now.
