[W126 Coupe] starts and cuts out

It sits between the two firewalls.  There are usually 3 relays next to each
other - klima, fuel pump relay, and ovp.  OVP is more obvious as its usually
silver with red top and one or two fuses inside the clear cap.  The other
two look the same, about the size of a pack of cards or cigarette pack.  The
fuel pump relay usually says FPR on it, the climate control says KLIMA on
it.  Pull the fuel pump relay out of its socket.  There are a bunch of holes
in the socket where the relay plugged into.  You want to take a piece of
wire, 12 gauge or so, about 8-12 inches long, exposed on both ends.  Stick
one end into the hole marked #6, the other in the hole marked #7 (I think I
have the right numbers, they are in opposite rows, its either 6/7 or 7/8).
You should now hear the fuel pumps buzzing/humming, pumping fuel.  If not,
you have a problem at the pumps.  If the pumps work, try starting the car
and see what happens.  If it runs, try driving a little.  If fine, the relay
is bad.
