[W126 Coupe] Camber adjustment kit

Ernie, the tool is a puller to remove the old bushes, if I remember
correctly. I didn't study the process in depth at all because my coupe was
having the rear guards widened and I had to get the wheels straightened up
without delay, so the body man knew what to work to. He took the coupe to
the alignment shop and I just paid.
AU$313.00 for the camber kit from the makers in Sydney and AU$480.00 to fit
it and align.
I would be surprised if an aligner worth his salt would need any other
tools.

Thanks for the info Mike. I was quoted $700 to install the kit and align the
wheels. I know that they are planning on buying a spanner wrench or some
thing like that for the job; I wondering if the removal tool that you
mention is the tool that they were talking about? If it is, maybe they can
revise the estimate accordingly otherwise it is nearly $1,000 for the
alignment! I think that I have expensive taste.

Ernie,
I had it installed by the wheel aligners because it was in the body shop
having the guards widened [amongst other things] and I wanted the rear
alignment setup accurately.
The kit comes with a removal tool to get the old bits out.

Mike,
Did you have the kit installed or did you do it yourself?

That's the kit I have in my '89 560SEC and it works a treat.

Markus,
I just ordered the camber kit from Import Auto Performance; I couldn't find
a better source so thank you again, I really do appreciate your input.

I just got a call from the alignment shop and they are looking for a camber

would appreciate that info.
