Dan,
Sorry to hear of your troubles. PB Blaster or the like may help in the
future better than WD40. I learned that the hard way on another car once,
luckily I had a spare parts car so took the line off of there.
You can bleed it, but you don't have to. Taking it for a ride seems to self
bleed it, just make sure you recheck the fluid level and keep it within the
range on the dipstick.
