[W126 Coupe] 380 SEC Rear trunk emblem

I'll second the motion on Adsit.  I ordered a wood shift knob for my 5 speed manual tranny.  They sent me one for an automatic.  I had to pay the return postage for the exchange.  They refused to do a UPS call tag.  I ordered a front end part for my '78 CE.  Because of cold weather I couldn't install it until spring.  When I tried to install it I discovered they had sent the wrong part.  They wouldn't exchange it.

          Don't deal with Adsit.  They were sanctioned by MBCA, 
  over 25 years ago.  Way too many complaints.  They

  sell aftermarket as the real stuff.  Besides, it would be

  less expensive to re-chrome, than pay for a new one.

  Forget about chroming. You can get a new emblem from Adsit Company for $ 49.- Just got one myself. They also have same in gold, according to my catalog 60% off.

    I mistyped,  

     

    I have a 1981 EURO 500 SEC, not a 560.  It is the 500SEC emblem on the trunk that I could use.  Mine was gold plated and the gold has peeled leaving a rough surface that I wonder if it could even be rechromed "reasonably".  Thanks to all who offered 560 help.

     

    I have a set of wheelwell eyebrows in gold if anyone is interested.  TRADE?

      I could use a few items like:

       

      fog lights

      headlight lenses

      chrome from trunk lid and the extensions onto the fenders.  Mine was gold plated and I am going back chrome here.  

      Could also use the 560SEC trunk emblem if still good.

        I bought two Euo SEC's as a package deal and will need to use one as a parts car for the other and then part it as quickly as possible..
        This car has a US front bumper, but the rear is a euro. It also has euro lights, turn signals, and tail lights, good glass and straight sheet metal. 

        I checked EPC and it has a limited slip diff which I will also pull from the car. 

        It's a no sunroof car but the interior is worn.

        Please let me know if you need anything from it as I will get motivated very soon to move it. Right now I have a 1000 sq ft unit with a pile of parts and 4 cars, there is no room to swing a cat!
