[W126 Coupe] secondary hood latch

does ANYone have a source for a parts car from which i can buy a few 
items, most notably, the receiver for the secondary hood latch?  the 
small lever on mine mysteriously broke, and i can't envision spending 
$300 on a new one from MB!  it's a spring loaded catch, for crissakes!
