Josh,
Thank you. I will check it out. By the way I believe AMG did and does make the alloy wheels I happen to have 17 in. AMG wheels on my 88 560 sec
They were installed by M B of Smithtown, N.Y.

Graham

Perhaps some of you fellow SEC owners know someone who might be interested. I cannot go, I have a trip in my 1991 560SEC the first week from here in VA down to Key Largo the first week of March with my son and cannot make both trips. Everything went well. > Graham Graham, I don't know the specifics on the 560 injection system, but the next time you go to start the car, you might try cleaning the idle control valve. That sounds like a sticky valve that's sticking partially open, and then snapping fully open when it overcomes the binding inside. -Josh -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I just picked up an '85 500SEC Euro that has 5 spoke 17" AMG wheels on it. The wheels have the AMG logo on one of the 5 spokes. I am trying to figure out if anyone knows if aftermarket companies were permitted to make reproductions and put the logo on the wheel or would these be true AMG wheels? Also the car has Ricaro style seats in it as well. They are not electrical seats, but they look like they bolted right in. Anyone seen this before? ? If they have /////AMG then they are still real, but from later years. I know that AMG offered a Recaro seat option for them, but as far as I know they were electric. That's not to say that they were all electric, just the only ones I've seen. Maybe in Europe you could get non electric ones.
