[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES Digest, Vol 67, Issue 20

My 88 560 sec surges when cold. With a constant throttle setting after start up (cold) the car surges for 1 to 2 seconds then dies down to almost idle,
then the process repeats itself until the engine warms up. I am sure this may appear somewhat amusing to the casual onlooker, but not for the driver.
Any help here would be appreciated as the problem seems to be getting worse on very cold days on Long Island. By the way, thank you for the advise on removal of the hazard switch. Everything went well.

Graham

I replaced these on my 560sec and let me tell you. It was a whole pile of fun :-) but doable for the DIY'er.
