Well, I got my 560 SEC back home. The did check everything from start to finish and could not find anything wrong. Then they work patiently the bleeding with the pressure system. And the pedal start holding.
I only have to get use to the different feel, because the pads and the rotors are new and they have to adjust to each other.
I will have a good Christmas and I wish you all Happy Holidays and a successful New Year

Nope, that line is (oops ... WAS ... see below) well over $100. I just replaced it this past spring when I did my top-end rebuild. I unscrewed the ends at the manifold and the brake booster, and the line broke in two in my hands as I pulled it through the inner firewall. The vacuum piece just disintegrated.

PLEASE READ & UNDERSTAND THIS: If this line has never been replaced on your car, you are living on EXTREMELY borrowed time. Spend the money and replace it. It sits right above the transverse pipe that connects the two exhaust manifolds on US 560 and 420 cars, so it gets heat-baked over the years. It's a 10-minute job to replace this hose.

Part number for the US 420/560 is: 126 430 28 29. List price is currently $62 from MB, and you can get it from parts.com for $42 + shipping.

This is a GREAT deal! The price has just been drastically reduced on this hose. This spring when I replaced mine, the MB list price was $117, and I felt lucky to get it from parts.com for $80.50.

You can see this black hose and white check valve on my engine (before I replaced them) in the upper right corner of this photo from my rebuild:

IIRC, it's about $30 for the black tubing with

the check valve in there.
