[W126 Coupe] fuel injectors

Interesting article. I’ve used Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner to blow through the injectors but it doesn’t seem to do *that* good a job cleaning. Never thought of using carb cleaner, so I’ll do that next time. I’d suggest blowing out the injector with air or some fuel injector cleaner after the carb cleaner so the first bit of “stuff” injected after cleaning doesn’t wash the oil off the cylinder wall.
What is the “straw” to which you allude?
Thanks,
Mike

New ones are around $30 +/- but you can clean them yourself using a can of brake clean and the straw attachment. Works pretty well.
Here is a quick write up on the topic.
