[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES Digest, Vol 73, Issue 26 -Drew

Dear Drew,
Look on the Fuel Distributor (reverse side) and you will see the OEM part
number. Then go to E-bay and search that same P/N. I have found several fuel
distributors this way and most, if not all, worked OK, at the right price.
Rebuilt Fuel distributors are available from several sources, such as German
Star, selling Mercedes parts at a higher price, of course. Don't forget that
fuel injectors can get clogged or stuck open too.
Regards,
L. Martin (84 Mersedes SEC)

Hello friends. My name is Drew. About 6 months ago I purchased a 1983
380sec. Drove it for about a week before it started running terrible. A few
local mechanics (not mercedes mechanics) have told me its loading up or
getting too much fuel. The car has been parked in my yard since. Recently I
haven't been able to get it started at all. I've been told it needs a fuel
distributer but I haven't been able to find one other than at the dealership
for the sum of 3000 dollars. This is not an option at the time. Any
suggestions?

Hi everybody
Less than 2 yrs ago I replaced the antenna assy on my '90 sec. Last night it
already broke. I am looking for a new assembly that will last longer.
Anybody have any suggestions for a drop in replacement that does not require
wiring/re-wiring? If?I need to wire the connector, I will, but I will need
the pinouts. Also, I do not want to have to send a check first, or use
PayPal as I do not want to have to set up an account with them. Hope
somebody can assist. Thanks.
