[W126 Coupe] Spring nibs (lowering question)

1 nib = 9.5mm 2 nib = 14mm 3 nib = 19mm The nibs are little tabs that can be seen at the bottom of the spring rubber. All alignment specs are a function of ride height. If you set up a race car, you set the weights side to side, corner to corner and then set the ride heights to fine tune the weights and then and only then do you align. Alignment always changes with ride height changes.
This is from Stu Ritter back in the day. I went with 1 nib front and 3 nib rear. More of a rack effect. That's way I was able to pass Markus. ;-}

Brent

Tire size depends on the rim width. On my 18X8's, I run 245/40, on my 18X9's, I run 275/35.
As to nibs, depends what you are going for. The less the rake, make them both similar or the same. The more the rake desired, the higher the difference. I think I have 2 nib fron, 3 nib rear for a slight rake effect.

Thanks for all your comments and tips, I will place 18's on mines cause it really looks good, but I was wondering which nib sizes (rubber spacers above the spring) would be suitable for an 18inch rim with what tire size?
thanks
Ramon
