Remove speaker cover if you have one
Remove any screws at bottom of door panel, I had a few in mine (87 SEC)
Remove chrome cover at top front of door panel near mirror
Remove chrome ring around door lock area
Pull out light at bottom of panel and unplug
Take off plastic cover by door handle
Remove screw holding metal surround in place
Remove seat adjustment pieces
Pull out surround for seat adjustment pieces and metal surround in front
Take off 3 screws holding armrest in place and remove armrest
Pull (slowly) doorpanel up to release plastic slips at top and rest
along the door and pull forward
Pull very gently on power seat button to remove, the tilt back button
Panel comes off easily if all screws are removed. Any resistance
and you missed a screw
The third screw for the armrest is behind the plastic cover where the
door handle is, and the seat controls. You take a thin screwdriver,
a pick, or a razorblade and stick it behind that plastic piece and
pop it out. Then you'll see one small screw holding the metal
surround in place, and behind that is the third screw. You also need
to take off the buttons for the seat controls so that surround can
also come off.
