[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES Digest, Vol 70, Issue 14

The 560SEC I bought had its tranny in the trunk. In my search I found a
yard in Trenton, NJ which was parting out a SEC, even in the same color(!)
from which I not only got the tranny, but a bunch of other goodies,
including a complete and perfect rear parcel section, though the window
itself was fogged. I thought I'd use it on a couple of my SEL's which had
rust holes starting in the corners of the rear window--one on the left, the
other on the right. Turned out that the SELs are different, but that the
only rust on the SEC was this area, which I hadn't seen. We cut out the
whole bad part, and put in the new one. Finding this piece was obviously
dumb luck. Good luck!
