Further to my last post I have been in contact with the local MBZ
dealership.they inform me that there has been 6 revisions of the 560
speedometer,they are quoting A013 542 3706 as the correct one for my chassis
number..All the connections were secure I just didnt push the cluster fully
home to ease removal.
I think I will have to remove the new one and place it side by side with
the old one and try and compare printed circuits.This is getting more
complicated than I though possible
