Well done Dan. Good luck with getting the Odo changed. When I recently had a
dash recalibrated for my 560SEC, they wouldn't change it to match the one in
my car.
Not aloud, they protested.

Hi Folks

    Well,I visted the breakers,expecting to buy one from a 420/380 126 and 
surprise ,surprise they had just pulled one from a 560,I wasnt prepared to 
pay the asking price of $400 AUD as the common ones were going for $175 AUD 
so I offered $250 and after a bit of grumbling by the owner,off I went,It 
was showing 288.000 KMS ,and the needle and other orange print had faded to 
yellow,so I think I will test fit it first and then get the odometer changed

to read 80,000 KMS(50,000mls) which is the genuine distance  the car has 
done.

    Actually I am quite curious how these can be changed without removing 
the gears,mmmm perhaps I should ask the used car yards!only kidding!
