[W126 Coupe] off topic. 190E part needed

Take a good look at yours and then go to some junk yards and look at
various cars.
The motor may (or may) not be Mercedes specific.
On the 190 is the switch on the drivers door panel? If so the wires
that go through the door into the body of the car may be broken
Turn the ignition to on, not the motor, put the headlights on and
then hit the seat switch, do the dash lights dim? If so then the
motor is no good, if the dash lights do not dim, it is a bad wire
or electrical connection or the seat switch
