Hello Folks the same has occured w/1984 380 SEC Euro Markus has suggested that there is a fuse on the back side of the cluster that could also be the cause. I did not notice any fuse on the attached photo. Markus was great to advise me to purchase MB dash removal tools from Harbor Freight. I just have not gotten the nerve up to remove the cluster yet will try now.
