Well, I've taken the other distributor apart to see what makes it tick,
and found nothing much of great complexity, just aggravation in getting
it apart.
So, off to look at the one on the engine in the car, and noticed that
I'd forgotten to hook the vacuum line back up after tinkering last night.
Since I had the vac pump there to test the first distributor, why not
double check this one for fun, right? Heh, leaky vacuum can on the
car's distributor, just not fully failed.
Now to sucker a friend into holding throttle at the test speeds so I can
re-test this and see if I need to pull the distributor for a full tear
down or not.
Thanks again for the input,
-Josh
